Swiss Economic Forum 2024 - Successful 26th edition in Interlaken
The Swiss Economic Forum took place on 6 and 7 June 2024 with 1,350 participants and around 70 speakers from the worlds of business, politics and science. Under the motto ‘Determination and Resilience’, the focus was on the current challenges facing the Swiss economy and the role of SMEs.
Highlights included contributions from President Viola Amherd, Sanna Marin, the former Prime Minister of Finland, and Michael R. Pompeo, the 70th US Secretary of State. Inspiring insights were also provided by personalities such as Thomas Schäfer (Volkswagen), Lia Wälti (professional footballer) and Eleonore Poli (analogue astronaut).

Swiss Economic Forum 2023 - anniversary edition
Under the motto ‘Make it happen.’, the Swiss Economic Forum celebrated its 25th anniversary in Interlaken on 8 and 9 June 2023. The anniversary edition was dedicated to the ‘hidden champions’ of Swiss SMEs who are shaping the economy with their innovations. High-calibre contributions from business, science and politics offered international perspectives and inspiration.
For a quarter of a century, the SEF has been a platform for dialogue and solutions to current challenges facing the Swiss economy. In 2023, the focus was once again on exciting discussions, forward-looking approaches and celebrating entrepreneurship.

On 2 and 3 June 2022, the 24th edition of the Swiss Economic Forum took place in Interlaken under the motto ‘Reaching Out’. The conference focused on cooperation and overcoming geopolitical divides. President Ignazio Cassis opened the forum, which brought together 1'350 leaders from the worlds of business, politics and science.
Current political and economic challenges were discussed in inspiring keynotes and varied breakout sessions. The event concluded with an appearance by former Austrian Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who emphasised the importance of cooperation and shared responsibility.

The 23rd Swiss Economic Forum took place in Interlaken on 10 and 11 June 2021 under the motto ‘New Horizons’. Around 1'350 managers and 60 speakers from the worlds of business, politics and science discussed bold approaches to leadership and resilience in order to ensure corporate success in uncertain times.
One of the highlights was the closing speech by former US Vice President Michael R. Pence, who spoke about political and economic challenges. The conference provided a platform to shed light on new perspectives and develop inspiring ideas for the future.
