THE WOMEN’S BUSINESS AWARD

NZZ Con­nect presents the SEF.WomenAward to women with an inspire his­to­ry of achieve­ment in entre­pre­neur­ship and at the same time cre­ates a pow­er­ful and for­ward-think­ing plat­form for women entrepreneurs.

The award is award­ed in the cat­e­gories «Young Entre­pre­neur of the Year» and «Entrepreneur/CEO of the Year». In addi­tion, a remark­able per­son­al­i­ty who stands for pro­mot­ing Switzer­land as a steady busi­ness receives is pre­sent­ed with an hon­orary award.

Eli­gi­bil­i­ty «Young Entre­pre­neur of the Year»
The entre­pre­neur has found­ed at least one com­pa­ny that is less than 7 years old, has an active/C‑level posi­tion there and the com­pa­ny head­quar­ters and sig­nif­i­cant parts of the val­ue cre­ation are locat­ed in Switzerland.

Eli­gi­bil­i­ty «Entrepreneur/CEO of the Year»
The entre­pre­neur or CEO is respon­si­ble for a com­pa­ny, holds an active posi­tion there and is sig­nif­i­cant­ly involved in the devel­op­ment of the com­pa­ny. The com­pa­ny was found­ed at least 7 years ago. The com­pa­ny has a sig­nif­i­cant impact on the Swiss Econ­o­my. The entre­pre­neur or CEO also shows a strong com­mit­ment to women in business.

Eli­gi­bil­i­ty for the Hon­orary Award
No appli­ca­tion pos­si­ble. Women who are eli­gi­ble for the Hon­orary Award will be nominated.
