Ambassador Thomas Schneider is a long-standing expert on issues relating to the governance of the information and knowledge society and the digital space. He heads the Swiss delegation in various relevant international organizations and processes (UN, ITU, UPU, UNESCO, OECD, Council of Europe, etc.). From April 2022 to April 2024, he led the negotiations in the Council of Europe on the first global agreement on AI.
