Simona Scarpaleggia

Simona Scarpaleggia is an international leader with extensive experience. As CEO of IKEA Switzerland, she worked to promote equal opportunities and thanks to her, a 50:50 gender split and equal pay are standard at IKEA. She was co-chair of the High-Level Panel on Women's Economic Empowerment, and has been championing diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) for decades. The innovator is co-founder of “Valore D” and “Advance Women”, and has in-depth knowledge of ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues. She is the author of the book The Other Half, a speaker and mentor for ambitious young professionals. Since 2022 she has been involved with various companies such as EDGE Strategy and Brainforest.
