Dr Eleonore Cassandra Poli completed her PhD at the Department of Materials & Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. She is a postdoctoral researcher in additive manufacturing at CSEM in Switzerland. As an analogue astronaut and former commander of the Asclepios lunar base, she simulates lunar missions on Earth in preparation for missions in space. She is astronaut manager for CHILL-ICE III and a member of the Ground Operation Support Team of the Austrian Space Forum. As a teacher, she also teaches robotics and maths to children and space travel to students. She is the founder of the EcoFashion and Oxygen for Covid Crisis projects and launched CHASM and the Climate Clock Project in 2020. She is a board member of the Swiss Space Museum and hepta.aero. Her hobbies are team sports, triathlon, music, photography, health and space history.
