Dan Staner

Dan Staner is the Vice President and Managing Director for Germany and Switzerland at Moderna, as well as the Head of the Middle East region. Since joining the company in 2020, he's played a pivotal role in transforming Moderna into a commercial entity with a broad range of vaccines and therapies. Up until the end of 2022, he managed the EMEA region, where he established Moderna's footprint in Europe, recruited over 500 staff, opened eight offices, and brokered vaccine deals with the European Commission, the UK government, the Swiss government, and several emerging countries. Dan brings nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various leadership roles after graduating from HEC Lausanne.
