Der Industriedesigner Enzo Enea studierte Landschaftsarchitektur in London, übernahm 1993 die Firma seines Vaters und gründete 1996 die Enea GmbH, die als weltweit führendes Unternehmen für Landschaftsarchitektur anerkannt ist. Am Hauptsitz in Rapperswil-Jona und den Standorten Zürich, Miami und New York beschäftigt er rund 200 Mitarbeitende. Zahlreiche nationale sowie internationale Auszeichnungen begleiten das Lebenswerk Eneas, das über 1000 Projekte umfasst. Weltweit einmalig ist das Baummuseum am Hauptsitz. Die Parkanlage steht für seine Vision von Architektur, Landschaft und Kunst. Eine Dokumentation Eneas Werke findet sich im Buch «enea private gardens».
Enzo Enea, landscape architect, took over his father’s garden supply company 20 years ago. His motto is “integration before decoration”, implementing and replanting trees rather than placing flowerpots. His international success is a result of risking something and exposing oneself in an international context. What makes Enea GmBH different from its national and global competitors is the access to specialized craftsmen in the company itself.
