Cyberattack — and then what?

In the "Corona period" the number of cyber attacks has increased massively. AMAG was also attacked, but before Corona. Thanks to information from MELANI, the federal reporting and analysis centre, it was possible to neutralise the attackers before data was stolen or systems were encrypted. Nevertheless, the attack had a considerable impact on processes. AMAG had to be disconnected from the general network for several days. Thomas Sauer, CIO of AMAG, shows what happened, how it could happen and what AMAG is doing to ensure that it does not happen again. Florian Schütz, Federal Cyber Security Delegate and Head of the National Centre for Cyber Security (NCSC), gives a few insights into the current threat situation and how the attackers proceed. How can a company protect itself, where are the entry points, where (and who) are the weak points? The two will discuss these issues after the keynote speeches
