The British Conservative Party politician was a key figure in the ongoing Brexit debate, leading the «Vote Leave» campaign.

From 1999 to 2005, Boris Johnson was editor of the conservative news magazine «The Spectator». Since 2015 he has represented Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency in West Greater London in the House of Commons, to which he belonged from 2001 to 2008 for Henley. From 2008 to 2016 he served as Mayor of London and from July 2016 to July 2018 as British Foreign Minister.

Boris Johnson is the author of numerous books, including «The Churchill Factor», “Johnson’s Life of London» and «Have I Got Views for You». He has received numerous awards, both as an editor and as a columnist, and currently writes for «The Telegraph».

Matteo Renzi is an Italian politician of the Partito Democratico (PD) and became president of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic in 2014 – the youngest in the history of Italy. Renzi caused a sensation with his reform policy and his promise to implement “a reform every month”. During his two years in office, several reforms took place: the reform of the criminal and civil law, a reform of the labour market and electoral law, an anti-corruption law, an educational reform, a constitutional reform and a reform of the public broadcasting corporation. Renzi also advocated the privatization of state-owned enterprises and the introduction of same-sex partnership. After the constitutional referendum in December 2016 had a negative outcome, he resigned as prime minister and due to the results of the Italian parliamentary elections in 2018, he also resigned as party leader of the PD. From 2009 to 2014 he was Mayor of Florence. He was previously President of the Province of Florence.

He is a native of Sweden, a Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington D.C. and the European Centre for International Political Economy in Brussels. Norberg has written 20 books covering topics as global economics and popular science. For his international work, Johan Norberg has received the Distinguished Sir Antony Fisher Memorial Award from the American Atlas Foundation, and the gold medal from the German Hayek Stiftung.

Carlo Rovelli is a theoretical physicist. He was born in Italy, studied in Bologna and Padova and has worked in several Universities in Italy, the United States and France. He is currently at the University of Aix-Marseille, where he leads the Quantum Gravity research group of the Center for Theoretical Physics of Luminy. He is one of the founders of Loop Quantum Gravity, a main candidate theory for combining Einstein’s relativity with quantum mechanics. In the last decades, Rovelli has written books for the large public that have had a global success. His “Seven Brief Lessons on Physics” has been translated in 41 languages and has sold over a million copies. The magazine Foreign Policy has included Rovelli in its 2019 list of the 100 most influential Global Thinkers.
